2018 Shop With a Cop

Sheriff Ellis speaking with news media about the 2018 Shop With a Cop program. This year all Brown County Law Enforcement agencies combined to take 57 children for an all day experience. The day starts out with a full breakfast donated by the Mt Orab Country Inn followed by a trip to the Hillsboro Wallmart where the group is joined by Highland County Law Enforcement agencies. Each child gets money to spend on Christmas gifts for themselves and their families. The group then gets a large lunch donated by the Hillsboro LaRosa's before going to Star Cinemas for a movie and arcade experience. Rounding out the evening the entire group goes back to the Georgetown Church of Christ where volunteers assist in wrapping all of the presents. Dunkin Doughnuts donates snacks for the children while they wrap and get a visit from Santa Claus.
